Turnips are a great vegetable substitute where potatoes would normally be used. If you are following a low carb diet, you will love to use this recipe without deviating from your plan.
You can use turnips in any recipe where potatoes are usually used.
- 1 or 2 Turnip
- a dash Black Pepper
- a dash Garlic Powder
- a dash Oregano
- a dash Parsley
- a dash Himalayan salt (optional)
- Parchment paper
- 1/2 tsp Olive Oil
Preheat oven to 425°F
Place parchment paper on a cookie sheet pan.
Cut turnips and place them in a bowl.
Add oil and seasonings to the bowl and mix.
Spread the turnip on the baking sheet.
Bake for 45 mins or more. I like them really crispy so they cooked for about an hr. You would want to flip them half way through.
