How many moms-to-be out there feel bummed out when they can’t partake in a sweet alcoholic beverage on a holiday? Or even just for the sake of having a drink….
Yup that was me this past Christmas. Being pregnant I couldn’t drink any alcohol however I wanted to have a nice fancy drink with our family and friends.
This triggered me to look and find different mocktails that I could enjoy.
Here’s one that I have made and LOVED!
Fruit Ice Cubes
- 5 cups white grape juice
- 1 pint fresh raspberries
Single Glass Sangria
- 1/2 cup white grape juice
- 1/2 cup fresh berries
- 1/2 cup 7-up or seltzer water
Make the Ice Cubes
Add 2 raspberries to each ice cube slot
Fill the slot with grape juice. If you want to go for a less sweeter option, you can use unsweetened grape juice.
Remove the ice cubes from the tray and put them in a resealable freezer bag.
Make the single glass sangria
Add 2 berry ice cubes to a glass
Add a bunch of fresh berries
Add white grape juice to the half way mark of the glass
Top up the glass with 7-up or seltzer water.
